feelings.
often, people will ask us, "how are you?" when we first meet after a very long time. in a way, it can be asking you about how you're feeling. there are just so much that one person can feel. for instance, you can feel like it's the best day of your life today or it's just so not your day today. to be more complicated, we can feel happy and sad at the same time. sometimes, you're just numb and gone when you still feel your bones under your skin. seldom, you just feel so tired and wished that you could sleep and wake up when the world ends. there is just no such thing as specific for oneself. you dont decide your mood for the next day; you cant. these are also known as mood swings. sometimes, they lift you up so high till you can touch the sky. however, when things come crashing down fast, gravity doesn't help you but makes everything worse.
feelings are one of the scariest thing anyone can and will ever have. it just comes naturally without any warning nor notice. that's only a part of catching feelings. it's only you, feeling good about that person and curious about that person. when you really go into depth like care about them, knowing about them, see the sides that you have always wanted to find out about, that's when feelings get deeper and that's where one can get soft then hurt easily. as you attach your heart to someone else, there is always a chance that he/she is going to hold a knife behind you and stab you, deep. of course, it is always the best feeling when your crush likes you back too, but that's only a maybe and chances are so low. for those who do not get the chance, are you willing to risk your heart to be broken in pieces? are you willing to sacrifice time to wait?
do our hearts actually beat fast when we see our crush? is it real that we get very tied up with our tongue when we are talking to our crush? is it true that we will stop and stare when he/she is playing sports or coming across to their photos while scrolling any social media? does it mean that our feelings for that someone is deeper if our hearts beat faster? the question is, are all these part of having feelings? i wouldn't know. people say they love, truth is, do they know what is love? is the "love" that they talk about just the strong feelings that they have for them? if you really love him/her, are you willing to do everything it takes just to be together with him/her? love is a kind of promise and it goes on forever. do you think you are going to "love" him/her for the rest of your life? of course you're going to answer me yes now but, look back at this after a year and ask yourself this, "did you really love him/her?"
"And sometimes I have kept my feelings to myself, because I could find no language to describe them in."
